fast breakfast mix
Ingredients
3 cups of any iron fortified whole grain cereal (Cheerios, Wheaties, Chex, Kix, life, shredded wheat, etc.)
1 cup dried fruit (raisins, banana, cranberries, mango, pineapple, apricot, etc.)
1/2 cup of nuts or seeds (peanuts, sunflower seeds, cashews, etc.)
Materials
Medium sized bowl
1 cup dry measuring cup
4 plastic baggies
Spoon
Directions
Wash hands thoroughly
Put cereal, dried fruit and nuts in a medium sized bowl.
Gently mix ingredients.
Put mixture in plastic bags.
Enjoy with a glass of 100% juice or low-fat milk!
